The WHP EGT Probe is compatible with the EMU Classic, EMU Black, and EMU PRO, as well as the ECUMaster 8-channel EGT module. This versatility ensures seamless integration into your existing setup, making it a perfect addition for those looking to monitor and enhance their vehicle's performance.

High-Quality Construction

Crafted with a stainless steel body, the WHP EGT Sensor is a Type K thermocouple, known for its accuracy and reliability. The sensor comes equipped with both a male 1/8 NPT compression fitting and a female 1/8 NPT weld fitting, ensuring a secure and easy installation.

Advanced Features

  • Probe Specifications: The sensor probe has a diameter of 0.250 inches and a lead length of 72 inches, providing ample reach for various installation scenarios.
  • Wire Specifications: The wire is 36 inches long with striped leads, featuring Kapton insulation and a stainless steel overbraid for durability and protection.
  • Rapid Response Time: With a response time of just 300 milliseconds, this sensor can detect a single misfire at 8000 RPM, ensuring you never miss a critical moment.
  • Temperature Resistance: The exposed tip junction and Inconel outer sheath can withstand temperatures up to 2200°F, making it ideal for use with race gasoline, alcohol, methanol, E85, or nitrous oxide in naturally aspirated, turbocharged, or supercharged engines.

What's in the box?

  • Type K Thermocouple with 1/8 NPT male compression fitting
  • Stainless Steel 1/8 NPT Weld Bung
Wiring:
  • Positive Wire (Yellow) - to EGT Input (or Precision Analog Input on EMU Pro)
The wire is made of nickel-chromium.
  • Negative Wire (Red) - to Sensor Ground (or Analog Ground on EMU Pro)
The wire is made of nickel-alumel.

Extending the wires is not recommended as the pins and wires used in the extension must must be made of the appropriate materials in order to maintain the Type K calibration.
