PHR - Powerhouse Racing Subframe Reinforcement Braces for MKIV Supra
SKU: PHR 01012109
Manifold Braced. sensor placed.
Keep the factory intake manifold support and gain a dedicated sensor mount in one clean piece. The PHR 2JZ-GTE Intake Manifold Brace with 7/8" Sensor Mount replaces the OEM brace between the cylinder head and intake manifold and adds a precision clamp for standard 7/8" (22.2 mm) pressure sensors.
Positioned above the fuel rail and right by the manifold’s pressure ports, it’s an ideal home for your MAP or fuel pressure sensor. CNC-machined from billet aluminum, anodized black, and laser-etched with the PHR logo, it looks at home in any serious 2JZ-GTE engine bay while keeping your sensors securely mounted and easy to service.
Direct Fit
Direct replacement for the factory 2JZ-GTE intake manifold support bracket.
Manifold Support
Maintains structural support between the intake manifold and cylinder head.
Sensor Clamp
Integrated clamp for 7/8" (22.2 mm) cylindrical pressure sensors.
Sensor Placement
Ideal for MAP and fuel pressure sensors mounted near the fuel rail.
Clean Routing
Allows short, tidy routing to intake manifold pressure ports.
Billet Construction
CNC-machined from billet aluminum.
Stealth Finish
Black anodized with laser-etched PHR logo.
Hardware Included
Comes with stainless steel mounting hardware.
Fitment
-
Engine: 2JZ-GTE only
- Compatible with Non-VVT-i 2JZ-GTE
- Compatible with VVT-i 2JZ-GTE
- Does NOT fit: 2JZ-GE
- Designed around the factory 2JZ-GTE intake manifold brace location
- May fit some aftermarket intake manifolds that retain OEM brace bosses (verify before purchase)
Sensor Compatibility
- Designed for standard 7/8" (22.2 mm) body automotive pressure sensors
- Suitable for MAP, fuel pressure, and other similar 7/8" cylindrical pressure transducers
- Clamp bore is intentionally snug to keep the sensor from moving under vibration
- Sensors with thick labels or shrink wrap on the body may feel tight going in
Installation Notes
- Remove the OEM intake manifold brace and install the PHR brace in its place using the supplied hardware
- To install the sensor:
- Use a small flat screwdriver or similar tool to gently pry up on the clamp ear and open the sensor clamp slightly
- Slide the sensor body into the bore while the clamp is opened
- Take care not to scratch the anodized surface when prying
- Once the sensor is fully seated, tighten the clamp screws to lock it in place
