Quick Release Race Style Induction Performance IGN-1A / IGN1A Coil Kit for Toyota 2JZ / 1JZ

We are proud to release the newest addition to our long standing line of IGN1A products for the 2JZ engine. The new race style quick release design will make removing the coils for spark plug changes a breeze! If you drag race, drift, or use your 2JZ in any competitive environment you will be thankful for the reduced time it takes to gain access to the spark plugs.

Hardware for mounting the bracket and hardware for mounting coils to the bracket is included with every purchase. Select your desired color for the quick release hardware.

Induction Performance High Output IGN1A Coil Kit

The kit comes complete with six coils, our bracket with hardware and premium 8.5mm plug wires that have been thoroughly tested and custom modified by Induction Performance for peak power handling -- we add Raychem DR-25 heatshrink and RT-125 epoxy to our wires to make them the best possible plug wires you can purchase for an IGN1A application!

This kit works with all aftermarket ECUs that allow for adjustable dwell once properly wired and setup.

No more expensive and fragile aftermarket ignition boxes. No more remanufactured OEM coils that are hit or miss. For roughly the cost of a new set of OEM Toyota coilpacks, you can upgrade your ignition system to the ultimate level and never have to touch it again!

This system removes the need for the OEM igniter, OEM coilpacks or any auxiliary ignition amplifiers like an M&W or MoTeC CDI. 

We also now offer a complete harness for the coil kit utilizing motorsport grade materials including tefzel wire, Deutsch connectors and Raychem DR-25 heatshrink. Simply select your ECU and add to the kit!

COIL SPECIFICATIONS:

• Output Voltage: up to 81kV +/- 10%
• Output Energy: up to 250mJ +/- 7% (8mS dwell @ 14 volts)
• Peak Secondary Current: 100mA +/- 7%
• Arc Duration: 3.2mS +/- 10% @ 3.0mS dwell target
• Max Continuous Dwell: 9mS not to exceed 40% duty cycle
• Max Intermittent Dwell: 88% duty cycle for 9 sec max
• The IGN1A coils deliver a powerful, long duration spark and are ideal for use in high-boost or high-compression engines.
• This coil is a specially designed inductive style, high energy coil IGBT (Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor) referred to as a smart coil, as it is designed with the igniter on the coil. (TTL Transistor to Transistor Logic computer systems)
• This coil has the potential of a Massive Spark Energy, (<250mJ, 8mS dwell @ 14 bolt) equal to and typical of the Capacitive Discharge Ignition (CDI) ignition systems, and delivers a very long spark duration that can only be achieved by using inductive coils.
• This Massive Spark Energy <250mJ, and very high voltage, >81kV with incredibly long spark duration of <3.2mS is CRITICAL to maximizing power in high boost or high compression engines.
• These coils are flawlessly being used on 3,000 hp nitrous engines without CDI. This is World Class performance!
• The heavy duty construction is suited to operate in harsh environments and will handle substantial shock, vibration, and is weatherproof. This coil can be mounted virtually anywhere.
